when i first got them, the car felt funny on the highway when i did something like make a lane change.... it felt sorta like a boat's handling, if that makes any sense.... i started a thread about it and some people on here think that it was because of the mis-matched tires (fronts different than rears) and some thought it was because the Kumhos had less stiff sidewalls.... i dont know which it was but i got used to it now anyway and dont notice it
long story short, im PRETTY SURE i like the kumhos, haha
Hit up Don@tireoption, he gave me a great deal on Falken FK452s, not THE cheapest alternative, but very awesome setup on a great budget. I got 245/35/19 fronts and 255/40/19 rears, tires are AWESOME!!!
Were they Bridgstones....what was the wear rating?
Going thru a whole set of tires in 9K miles is somewhat excessive. Give discount tire or tirerack a call and inquire about the Yokohama S.drive tires. Most important when you buy tires check the wear rating, should be at least 220 to 280 for our cars. I went thru a set of Bridgestones in 10K miles only to find out they were rated at 140....no wonder! I've mentioned this
before but there's two places you don't want to go cheap....tires and brakes. Your life may depend on it!
