First time tire buyer for coupe?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Heres the deal Im going in to buy 4 new tires from my local store and need your expertise in this area. I have an '05 coupe with about 30K miles on my Michelen Pilot Sports and its about that time. My coupe has the 18in wheel setup and I want to keep the same size when I get my new ones. Now what size (front and back) do you recommend to feel in the wheel gap more in the front. The back tires seem just right 245 45R 18, but my fronts are 225 45R 18 seem like there is to much space. I dont want to go to extreme here. I currently have the stock Michelen pilot sports. Im a newbie pleading for help, thanks. One more thing do you recommend the Pilot Sport 2's, instead?

Im not expert so someone can correct me if I'm wrong...But I dont think that getting bigger tires will lessen the amount of wheel gap you have...I "THINK" you'd have the same amount of wheel gap but with a higher ride height...If you want to ditch the gap you need to lower the car a bit...Especially since Im sure you want to keep that low profile sports tire look...Getting bigger bulky ones would probably look off...

And no need for the BMW comment...Sometimes posts get lost in the shuffle...Your certainly not helping your cause by insulting people around here...Best of luck...

if you increase the diameter of the tire that will mess up your speedo. increasiing the width of the tires will increase understeer.

increasing the overall diameter of your tire isn't a good way to fill the wheel gap. Not only does it affect the speedometer and odometer, it will also affect the VDC as well. Do a suspension drop if you want to make it look more filled in.
