Installation cost for Eibach Pro Kit Springs

I just ordered the above for my 2003 G35 6MT. Called around to get the prices for installation and they are coming in at $175.00 for the install and $49.95 for the Alignment. Is this a good price? Seems kinda high! I paid $230.00 for the springs which includes the shipping.

That's not that bad. Install of springs always seems relatively high compaired to the cost of the springs themselves.

That thing got a Hemi... Sweet!

I agree. Just went thru the process of installing eibach this past weekend myself. It was PAIN in the $ss.. not worth the effot at all.. If I had known it was so much trouble to do it on my own, I'd have paid for some one to do it. A local shop in CA wanted to charge me 270 for installation and alignment. your price sounds very good!

Unless you have an impact wrench and/or a mechanical spring compressor it will take you about 4-6 hours to do it yourself the first time.

If you've doen springs before it should be fairly easy with a compressor and impact wrench. If you've never done it before expect to run into a few problems, because, hey we all screw up the first time or forget something. If you are going to do them yourself and it's your first time give yourself AT LEAST the whole day, if not more. I've changes springs so many times that I got it down to less than an hour per side.

I changed the struts and springs on my SHO. a local shop wanted $300 to do it. In comparison to the amount of work involved, $300 would have been a bargain.

I say pay the $170 to have it done. you'll need the alignment anyway regardless of who installs them.
