Cracked rim

My tires were losing pressure lately so I took them to check for a nail in it. When I went they said the tire was too worn to fix so I bought new tires. When they took the rim off of the tire they found the rim was cracked on the inside near the wheel weights. Anyone else have this problem. My car has around 27k miles. Should it be covered by warranty or will they say it was my fault.

idk that's a tough one...they are gunna give you crap about it but if u play hardball they may pitch in for a new wheel. if they cost is on you DO NOT buy it from them. there are plenty of members on here that have spares they're selling for 1/4 the cost of the stealer... you can pick up a whole set for the price they'll charge you for one

they'll most likely deny the rim is defective unless you can prove it somehow. Did you runover a pothole?

^+1. Im sure an outside influence (ie: pothole, or some type of impact) caused the wheel to crack. In this case, warranty will not cover the wheel.

Just came back from the dealership; they said it was my fault (I figured they would say that). I have never hit a pot hole or anything else for that matter. My rims have no curb rash and no damage other than the crack. Oh well, I talked my wife into aftermarket rims.
