Stupid Question - Tire Pressure

Just got new wheels on my G. The tiress have a max pressure rating of like 51psi.

What tire pressure should you run in low profile tires with aftermarket wheels?

I've heard to run whatever's printed on the door frame for the OEM tires.

Is this correct?

I would run them around 34 PSI and see how they handle. I run my 18s at this pressure and it seems pretty good. I find the pressure reccomended on the door frame a bit too low for me.
You would never run them at the max inflation pressure.

I try to keep my tires around 34-36psi. I have aftermarket 18's with 245/40 tires.
