You might try a tire calculator- and place the sizes that you are considering in the program- it will tell you if the diameter is the same as your OEM tire. That s what truly is important so as not to throw off your VDC.
If you are happy with changing your offset and the tires fit on your rim then it may be the option for you.

Another thing: I know that in the 18s some have oppted to place the Pilot Sport A/S only on the back to compliment the Pilot Sports on the front (as the folks with 18s run into the same issue as you) Since the AS Sport performs the same as the Pilot Sport in most conditions and the rear already has an offset, some have been happy with that. The drive wheels then get you traction in the snow from the A/S tires- just enough to get you home to your Silverado.
In the summer you can change them back if you want.

Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position are UHP All/Season tires, and offer a 40,000 miles warranty. I think it's the only tire in the UHP class that offers that... I'm thinking about getting those next, becuase my Pilot Sport All/Season are balding after 20k miles.

Once my stock rubber runs out I'm an going to go with an all-season option. I don't want to have 3 sets of rims laying around my house

1)racing
2)summer
3)winter

That just seems silly. Some people would think I'm obsessed with tires. I'd rather just combine 2+3. I'd be willing to go plus a size if necessary.

Has anyone worn their Blizzacks all summer?

Additionally, how many miles should I expect to get out of the stock rubber? 10k miles? And has anyone ever rotated them (off the rim) to get some extra miles? I'm thinking of doing that next time I get an oil change. Maybe at the dealership but they'll probably charge me an arm+leg.
