So Im looking for the best set up for OEM 19s that will give me the same ride quality as the 225F and 245R or better. I was thinking about just going with the oem setting of 225 and 245. i want whats more economic and a set up what would yield equal or better comfort in ride. Im thinking 35 sidewall will be a harsher ride than a 40 so id like to try and keep it at a 40 sidewall. im looking at Toyo TR1 tires and they make the OEM 225 and 245 set up. Im thinking about just going with that. maybe ill just bump the rears to 255 and keep the 225s in the front. 235 is a odd width and prob wont be able to find it for toyo. 245 i think is also too wide for the front too! I need some honest suggestions.

bump i still think 275 is too wide! i hear the wider the louder the road noise too. might i remind you that a 35 profile will prob be more harsh on the road too!

 

The difference of the overall diameter of 245/40R19 and 275/35R19 is only 0.1"...
I don't think there is a big difference for 0.1"....

 

so no rubbing issues with 245 and 275 when lowered?

 

so is a 245/40/19F & 275/35/19R a better set up than 245/35/19F & 275/35/19R? Whats really the difference?

Would the tires look thinner with the a 35 profile rather than a 40 sidewall from the OEM 19 specs? I know the tire is wider but Im trying to decide if the above set up would be better than the OEM 225/40/19F & 245/40/19R!

There are many people on this forum who give advice. You have to learn not to believe all you read. With that said, this topic has been covered many times in the past.
