Well after having the tein coil over install for about 2 weeks. I have come to conclusion that it is stiffer than HKS and also our stock. My suggestion for anyone that thinking about upgrading their suspension, go with either HKS or Tein CS. Unless you plan to autocross, then go with the Tein flex. Even if you plan to get the CS, get the EDFC unit. The reason is the CS kit allow you to adjust the dampering. If you don't the the EDFC, then to adjust the rear dampering, you need to remove the shock to adjust. As you can see, it's a pain in the butt.

This weekend i have along list of item to perform on my car, installing the camber and toe kit. On top of that, i got to work on my double din, oh boy. The double din going to takes a while. I will post picture once the double din is done cause it going tob looks really nice.

lol, of course tein flex is stiffer. Its got 12k springs! almost double the stocks. Let us know how the stereo setup goes, I want to see the final project.

One turn on the plate really won't do very much to lower or increase the ride height. You should go w/ the factory setting and adjust from there. Tein's setups are pretty accurate in terms of shock length, so whatever you have on one side is pretty much the same thing for the others. We, at Mach III have installed many other coilover systems in which matching the gap between the upper and lower collar will throw off the ride height between the different sides. Tein suspension systems are by far, one of the most accurate coilover systems on the market.

I have the Tein CS on my car for a little over 2 months now and have no problems or complaints about the ride quality. This was actually the first Tein CS in the U.S. that I got and so far so good. However, if anyone's looking for stiffness for the track, then avoid the CS........

 

Other than the height ajustability, what is the real improvement with COIL Overs?
