Rims Tires I'm so confused!!!

OK I am ready to get my rims and tires for the summer. I am going with a 19 X 8.5 that much I am sure of. My problem is I just talked to someone at 1010tires.com and they said that a +38 offset will fit under the wheel. I have the G35 sedan wheel fitment chart by THX723 that shows that a +38 would probley rub in the front. Which is correct???

2. the guy form 1010tires.com said that I want to go with a 245/35/19. I though I would need a 245/40/19 to stay the same size as the stock tire and rim size. I need input. I live in Utah so I don't plan to put them on till spring but want to get them soon.

thanks

Is your sedan lowered?
You should be fine with the 19x8.5 with +38 offset.
As for 245/35/19 vs 245/40/19, what the guy from 1010 is saying if you want the your speedometer to be true to speed the 245/35 is closer to your stock wheel and tire ratio. I believe by going 245/40 your speedometer will be slower than your actual speed.
