yeah i know which is why i was curious why the guy who was selling them said that he had no fitment issues on his 350z with them...no rubbing and didnt have to mod his fenders

i have a 10.5 with a 275 tire. im dropped on S-Techs and they rub on larger bumps on the road... i can only imagine that an 11.5 would seriously rub if the fenders arent rolled. and also wouldnt a 285 be really stretched on an 11.5?

Think 10.5 is about max. Maybe squeeze 11's, but 11.5 idk.
Did that guys Z have a wide body kit or something? Those are really wide for stock body imo.
It's not so much the size of the tire, it's all about your off-sets whether it'll rub fenders and/or suspension or not. With 30 off set and 11.5 wide maybe not fenders, but I'd be concerned of suspension rubbing. Not an expert...30 off set is tucked in more than 25, right?
I'm running 20X10's in the rear with 25 off set and lowered. I rub on bumps and moderate cornering b/c of those off-sets and need my fenders rolled.

I had 10.5 +30, with a 5mm spacer making it +25. No problems running 275/35/19 tires.
