just wondering how much you purchased your wheels new, must be the 3pc. wheels

i got a price from a buddy and it seems too good to be true

That pricing would be the Speed Star Wheel version. Still a nice JDM wheel from the same company, but 2pc cast and welded together. Not the 3pc SSR version you're lookin' for

I thought we went over this, they are all 3 piece wheels that have a cast center and a spun outer, whether they are badged SSR or SSW, the only difference lies in the centercap, which tirerack had specifically made for them to differentiate them from SSR's forged lineup. I confirmed this with Tirerack, Gruppe-S, and Z1 motorsports, all of the main distributors for these wheels in the US. Tirerack screwed everyone up by asking SSR to change the name on the sp1s and d5r's, but the wheels are the SAME. Gruppe-S and Z1 can get all the finishes and offsets, while tirerack only carries a few that they know will work. Hope this clears things up.
