storage tire pressure question

Any particular tire pressure which i should store the 18" Michelons for the winter? They are sitting in my basement at the moment (no room in the garage) at 36psi (that is my normal driving setup)

Thanks in advance.

Re: storage tire pressure question

Yokohamatire.com has tire storage recommendations on their site. They are under customer service tab then service bulletins tab.

They suggest deflation to 50% of normal pressure.

Re: storage tire pressure question

thanks for the info, i will deflate to around 30 psi because my air compressor motor is very small, it would take way too long to inflate back to 36psi
