HRE wheels

Anyone heard of HRE wheels:
http://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/series2.asp?series=890R

planning on checkin them out at a local store. sucks to be in the Middle East - getting good rims is too pricey because of shipping costs.

Thumbs up

Yep, they are one of the top shelf brands and very pricey. I plan to put a set of HRE competition series wheels on my G someday. I envy you if you've got the $$$ to get them... They are one of the best brands out there.

HREs are legit.

dont know if there is any truth to this but dont plan on tracking them...i heard theyre banned from the track b/c theyre too soft. still sick wheels, nonetheless.

I looked at HREs instead of my VOLKs but my pockets were not quite deep enough. If you can afford them do it

I think HRE's make some of the best looking wheels out there but are super expensive. They have a reputation for not being very strong under track condition and can bend. if ur not gonna track ur car then definately get a set of them if u have the money

no track for my car

yes they are baller $$$ priced at US$6k for 4 rims in 20"

i would rather go TT than HRE. So i will look around for other rims - maybe volks or my old fav Luff.

Most everyone around respcts HRE. On the other hand, the cost is prohibitive. I wouldn't pay the price for wheels that can't handle race conditions. I'd go for IForged...same good looks at half the price.

Definitely go with Volks over Luffs bro. Luffs are a good alternative if you are on a budget.
