loose lug nuts
Has anybody experienced the problem of self loosening lug nuts on the rr wheel? The nuts were torqued about a month ago and because of this problem I have now broken off one of the lug studs. Just curious.

Was prolly weakened by an over-zealous mechanic with an impact wrench.
If the threads are oiled, they say they'll come loose too.
The dealer will fix it. Tell them to use a torque wrench, and remind them the spec is 72 to 87 ft.lbs.[img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img]-- It's in the ESM.
