Need opnion on Tanabe and Sprint springs???
Are those springs any good? I saw on ebay and the Sprint claims a 1.75" drop and tanabe 2.2" front, 1.7" rear drop. Is there anyone running on those???
Re: Need opnion on Tanabe and Sprint springs???
I'm running Sprint 1.75" springs on my Coupe, and I love them! The ride from a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being just like stock and 1 being really bad, the rides a high 8! Sprint has actually been in business for a long time and isnt one of those fly by night perormance companies that pop up from time to time. I paid $170 with shipping for my set of Sprint springs.
Tanabe is also a reputable company, and although I havent used their products, I've only heard good stuff about their products. You won't go wrong with either or company.
The only thing it comes down to now is how low do you want to go? Remember the lower you go, the more difficult its gonna be to correct any alignment issues you will have with both kits (you'll need rear camber adjustment rods if you want to correct the neg camber and sabe those pricey tires). Lastly, the G is a low car to begin with. In my case, running the 1.75" springs and 19" wheels with 35/30 series tires, I often find myself being extra careful in and around certain inclines, bumps and area that arent "drop friendly". You just gotta take it easy...
Think about what you want to get out of the drop, the look you're after, possible upgraded rims in the future (if you already dont have em) and take into consideration the area where you live....
