rear ir rubbing!!!!

ok so yesterday i put on some Luff racing M1's. They are 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rear. I dont know the offset but they were previously on a 350z. The wheels look great but my only problem is the rear is rubbing when i hit and dips or when i make hard lateral turns. I am on completely stock suspension and im just wondering if there is anything i can do to stop it from rubbing in the rear. I was thinking of maybe putting on some 350z htechs and maybe som stiffer shocks like d specs. My thinking was with a slightly stiffer ride maybe the rear woudnt rub nearly as much. To be honest there is about 1.5-2 inches of space between the top of the tire and the fender so i dont know what to do. I would love some input guys

Only way to stop the rubbing in the rear properly is to get the rear fenders rolled. Putting on lowering springs is only going to make things worse

Thats bull, rolling the fenders will fix it, unless your tires are sticking out of the fenders, which should not, because that would mean they are not meant to go on your car. You can also give the cr a bit more negative camber, but rolling will fix it.

The fronts come prerolled from the factory so only the rears need to be rolled

Are you sure you are rubbing? From those pics it wouldnt look like you would rub. Your offsets must be really aggressive, but still weird.

I believe the luffs come in 19x10.5+22, and if those tires are 285/35/19's then it is likely that he is rubbing. Hero's works are +24? and he had to cut his fenders as well. Usually people who run low offsets run 275/35/19 to get the tires to stretch for clearance, but 285s usually will rub

that is correct. if i had to do it all over again, i would have found someone who could do a clean roll rather than cutting it. but oh well.

they are 285-35-19 in the rear. I feel my fenders every time i park and i dont feel anywhere wher it may be rubbing. It only happens on serious dips in the road but like i said so far i dont feel any damage from the rubbing but i will be getting the rears rolled this week. Thanks for all the help and ill have clean new pics up soon enough

I rolled my fenders with a rubber mallot by gently tapping on the lip in large arcs, following the wheel well opening. It helps to use a heat gun too. Use a lot of light taps.

besides rolling your fenders you could trying going with a smaller tire size instead of 285's you could try 275's that might help

i have 285 rears +18 offset on stock suspension and i rubbed a lot. i had my rear fenders rolled & now im fine, no rubbing issues at all. but there is no way i can lower the darn thing with those fat tires. now im just waiting for my rear tires to wear out and get 275/30's before i can think of lowering my car. it doesnt look like you have an aggresive offset so you probably can either choose between a smaller tire or to roll your fenders.
