rant: stupid drive through curbs

ok, so 2 weeks ago i get my new Touge 18" rims. pretty sweet beasts i might add. anyways, the shop i got them from also lowered my car and re-aligned it. The aligment guy scratched my front right on the machined lip area...sucky. so i was all bummed about that. Today going through taco bell drivethrough, they took down the stupid yellow poles that lets you know where the curb is and when i was pulling up to the window i curbed my ****!

I'm super pissed...why does there need to be a curb that sticks out a foot at the drive up window? also, that yellow pole has been there forever, then they just now take it off? it didn't scratch my **** up bad, but it's noticable. Made me want to puke when i heard that noise.

one of my friends owns the rim shop i got them from so i'm going to see if he'll warrenty it for me out of good will. anyone else scratch their **** up?

I just experienced this yesterday in a drive through. Fortunatelly I still have factories, but when I heard that grind it made my skin crawl. Not terrible, but I know its there so now it time for rims.

I never curbed my rims in the drivethrough windows, but I've always hated the curbs and the small width of the lane... always worried I will curb my rims...

I curbed mine in a parking structure. There was a curb sticking out next to the ticket machine at the enterance...horrible horrible noise. I usually sand em and polish em so its not noticable when ish happens.
