235/40/19 should be fine.

 

Checked out the sizes for Falken 452s and they dont make a 235/40, so it looks like either a 275/35 for the rear, or just switch them out for TOYO T1Rs in: 235/35 and 255/35

 

Does anyone see any problem in running a 245/35 in the front and the same 255/35 in the rear?

 

I've been running 245/35/19 and 255/40/19 in the rears for 7 months. Runs fine, occasionally the SLIP lights have come on for me like today they did. Other than that the 245 works fine and gets you closer to the right ratios.

 

Thanks for the info. I really dont want to change the 235 on the front because I like how the 235s handle better.
I think Im going to go with a 275/35 in the rear which would keep the tires in the correct ratio

 

So Ive been searching and reading and I think Im going to go with T1Rs in 235/35/19 for thr front and 255/35/19 on the rear.
The sidewall height of the 235 is 3.24 and the rear 255 is 3.51, bringing the difference to .27" .
Stock sidewall height is 3.54 and 3.86 with a difference of .32", so that leads me to believe that these sizes will be OK. Anybody agree/disagree?

 

Sounds Alright, I think if you stick to the same Profile you'll be safe. Otherwise use this Formula I found in a magazine (2007 Ultimate wheel and Tire Guide).

Here an example just put in ur own tire numbers and like magic youll get the Diameter. Tire specs 245/40 19's:

(245x0.40) x 2
___________ + 19 (rim size) = Diameter size!
25.4

Try it! Don't forget multiply tire width and height, then multiply that number by 2, then divide that number by 25.4 and finally add rim size and Viola.

 

By the way I think u screwed up with the tire sizes when u went with a bigger profile on back. Usually when u go bigger width on rear tires u should either stick to same profile as front or go 1 notch smaller not bigger!
