I had a feeling they would fit when I saw the 265 on there.

Hey, scrooge, with the 275, does the sidewall look straight, ir does it bulge out at the point where the tire is touching the ground.

With my 265s, the sidewall is straight.

Thanks,
Fred

For anyone who wants to go 265/35 on OEM 19", don't worry...it fits and it doesn't look like it bulges at all.

I'll have to take a few pictures and somehow post them here for all of you to see.

245 in the front and 265 in the back...no problem.

Cheers!
Just curious: what brand/model tires did you get in 245/265? and how does that tire brand/model/size ride compared to stock?

They are RE050A just like the OEM but wider.

They gave a healthy difference. Add on that a mild sport alignment, and it gave me the confidence I needed in the G.

Again...this is a 245/35/19 front and 265/35/19 rear on the OEM 19" rims on a 2005 G35 coupe.

Someone here is running 275/35/19, and I saw the pic. It looked like it was slightly bulged out, but my sidewall is straight.

When the 265 wears out, I will deifnitely have 275/35/19 dry-fit on there to see if I am comfortable with it.

I am also running the tanabe sustec anti-sway bars front and back.

Stock spring/shock set-up is good for the street, but the stock body roll was too much for me.

The anti-sway bars and the wider tires made a noticeable and welcome difference.

My launch is slightly improved as well!!!

Cheers,
Fred

I have run 245/35/19 on the OEM front 19"x8.0" and 275/35/19 on the OEM rear 19"x8.5" wheels for a short period of time. The rears do bulge and I would be concerned about their stability when put under stress. Right now I'm running 245/35/19 and 255/35/19 and they feel and perform fantastic.

tirerack.com lists the following as optional sizes with the stock 19" rims:

245/35 19 front
275/35 19 rear

I've had this setup on my 05 coupe for 10k or so. No problems what-so-ever. I love the look of the tires...they don't shrink in the rim like the stock sizes. And no, they don't bulge out either!

Here are some pics:

in my book, that's a bulge on low profile tires.

the goal is to get a slight pulled look for me.

9" for 245
10" for 275

I agree, those tires are bulging, you can clearly see the center of the sidewall protudes further than the wheel

The bulge is minor...I'd rather have the slight bulge than the sunk-in look, especially for the rear!

If you don't like the look, then get a new set of rims (and spend a couple grand).

The bulge is NOT minor. The fronts are fine, but the rears, well, let's just say, I'd decline to ride with you. Not that you'd ever ask

BTW, It's not about looks, it's all about safety.
