Bottoming out isn't going to be solved by shocks. Problem is your lower with part of the suspension travel on springs that are actually softer than stock, even their final rates aren't much firmer than stock, can even be softer than stock. Take a look, at the specs below and compair to the stock springs.

Eibach Pro-Kits initial and final spring rates in LBS
G35s 259/334 front 359/413 rear
G35c 229/337 front 274/463 rear

Stock spring rates
F/R in lb/in
350Z and G35 coupe: 347/419
G35 sedan with sport: 357/407

I'm basically just getting some springs for the looks but not really for performance. So from my point of view... It's worth getting it for the looks and closing the gap?

IN GENERAL, lowering a car improves handling. shocks will improve rebound and dampening which will improve traction and more importantly...confidence at higher speeds. Shocks will also aid in bottoming out. have u ever been on a pogo stick.....same concept especially over a slow bump......will keep bouncing and bouncing and bouncing right into your undercarriage. but i guess some people like that.
