New rims & tires for my G35x
New rims & tires for my G35x
Since my lease is 50k miles (I have a long commute to work) and I figure the OEM tires aren't going to last that long and I'd end up putting on a lovely set of tires about 15k miles before I'm done with the lease. So, since we have 9 solid months in Pittsburgh, of so-so weather I'd get a set of spiffy rims and tires for those months and then throw on the OEM rims/tires during the winter months....
I've been perusing wheelmax.com and found a few sets of EXEL rims for about $600. But since I'm not a huge car guy I wanted to get opinions on the brand. Also, I'd love to know if anyone has other sites where I might find rims & wheels for my 07 G35x.

Dont push your luck with very low profile tires up there....
I drove my car up that way the week after I put mine on and dropped it and I thought for sure I had blown the tires or bent a rim like 50 times. My GF is from up there, the roads are absolutely horrid! I would def keep some rubber to protect your wheels if your going to be driving on that all the time... just my opinion though!
outside of the wheels threads on this site, try tire rack or scouring eBay for ideas... Your not going to want to go with a staggered setup on the X so, look for something in 19+8.5" with some favorable offsets. 35 or 40mm maybe??? There are some guys in the 07 section who have wheels on their Xs, check it out if you havent already.
