20's Offsets

I have a chance to buy some 20's but the offsets are sorta high.
I currently have 19 inch Sevas that are 20 offset all around. I love the way they sit flush. The wheels I'm looking at are 20x8.5 31 offset front and 20x10 27 offset rear. Those offsets are a long way from 20. I think those offsets are kinda high but I have never bought 20 inch wheels before so I need help. Will these sizes fit flush on the coupe?

offsets don't change with wheel diameter, so these will be sunken

Exactly what I thought. How could one size bigger wheels have completely different dynamics. The owner of the 20's wants to sell them so bad he tried to convince me they would sit flush. Oh well, I'll just have to wait until something else comes along.
