Can I put 245/40 and 275/40 R18 on a 6MT

Looking to get tires, and was going to do 245/40 on the front and 275/40 on the rears. Is this going to be okay or am I going to run into too many issues. This is for an 04 6MT on the stock 18" wheels.

Did a search, and couldn't find anything close to this setup, or at least anyone who is running this setup.

Thanks

Chris

Okay, upon a little more searching, I found out the answers I need. The 275 WILL fit, but will be bulging like crazy on the 18x8 wheel.

I'll probably be looking for a 245/40 and 255/45 combination. Why the hell are these tire sizes so strange for these cars. Coming from the world of european cars, there are TONS of sizes available. For the G? selection is limited!

That said, anyone run All seasons on the G? I'm looking at the Kumho ASX's. Currently the car is on Dunlop M3's, and I NEED summer tires. Would the car handle terribly with Ultra High Performance All Seasons?

Thanks!

Look at Tirerack for ratings. I recently went with Continental ExtremeContacts W rated ultra high performance all season tires and I've been very happy with them.

You mentioned all seasons, I just bought some today. I was considering Michelin PS2s but got researching into all seasons and bought the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. This tire seems to be rated very well and it is classed as a Ultra HighPerformance All Season. The only complaint I read is that it is pricey.
