Tire pressure sensor issue
Was wondering if anyone had a similar issue to mine:
Was driving up I-5 yesterday (90-100 degree temps) when my low tire pressure light came on. I stopped the car, and found the tires were still properly inflated. After restart, the light did not come back on. However, after a driving a while, the tire pressure light again went off. I again checked tire pressure, and the light went out after restart. This happened several times over the course of the drive.
If anyone has an explanation for this, I'd love to hear about it.

When the light came on, was it accompanied by a very loud 10 second beep?
If it did not beep, it is saying there is something wrong with the tire pressure monitoring system.
When I have my winter wheels on and drive for a while, the light comes on (but no beep). It's just saying it hasn't heard from the sensors, and something is wrong. After turning the car off and restarting it, the light goes off for a while.

mine started doing the same thing recently but after I lowered psi at the track (re-inflated though)... same exact issue OP is having... the first time it happened was in the rain and I had on nice clothes, got out (slightly covered by awning) checked with gauge and ever f-ing tire was fine!!! Got back in and light was off. It has done the same thing several times over the past week or 2... It seems to happened if/when VDC comes on. Sometimes I don’t notice VDC but light comes on - I pull over (or even at red light) turn off car wait 5-10 seconds and start it again... light is off. I figure if the light comes on after the aforementioned procedure I have an under inflated tire.
If this continues throughout this week I will have Infiniti check it out during next service (hopefully sched for this coming weekend).
BTW, my 60' got worse when I lowered the psi so it was a complete waste and now PITA!
