I'm thinking about black chroming the center part of my iforged flux wheels to hide the brake dust and I'm always like the look of a gunmetal color in the center. I know spicedog black chromed his stock 18s and looks killer.

Check with www.bozeforged.com they offer black chrome. You can see the finish on their website.

 

You will still have the same amount of dust to contend with, it just won't be quite as visible. When I was still running the stock 18s, I switched over to Porterfield pads and have 90% less dust than the stock pads created. I don't have Brembos like you, being an a/t, but oviously they both dust up a lot. I would change pads regardless of what you do with your wheels

I was trying to order Iforged senekas with gunmetal centers, but I was never able to see a sample of what they referred to as gunmetal. Seems like different manufacturers have different colors. I finally cancelled the order and went with BBSs in Diamond Black, like Chops's, and am very happy with them.

 

oh man your rims look nice already, I saw it that day at stillen day and the chrome makes the car really nice, makes me want to have chrome rims. I say keep your rims and don't touch them and keep the extra money and treat yourself

thanks for the compliment bigmasher, I don't know if black chrome would work on DG. I think it would look badass on black and white.
