Bridgestone Turanza LS-V vs. Yoko YK520

I have an 03 G35 Sedan with 17" wheels (no sport suspension). I need a new set of tires and I'm debating between the Bridgestone Turnanza LS-Vs (not the stock EL42s) and the Yokohama YK520s from Discount Tire. I think the Bridgestones are supposed to be more of a touring tire vs. the Yokos being more of a high performance tire. I don't drive my car very hard, so I don't need an uber high performance tire, but I still want the car to be fun to drive and not feel like grandpa's car. Can anyone give me an opinion of one over the other?

Do a review on Discount tire's website and see what people have to say about both tires. Multiple opinion may help you in making a decision. The YOK is a V-rated or Z? I was just going to buy those same tires in 18s for $203 a peice ( V-rated) but then opted for the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx (Z-rated ) for $141 a peice. The Yoko did have a 60,000 mile warranty though, even though none of the reviews had anyone getting that close. What gives? Good luck

We just put a set of 520's on my GF's Mazda 3 and they are great tires. That thing handles great now.

I am leaning towards getting the Yokohama YK520. Good review everywhere. And this is a model Yoko made for Discount tires only. Can't get anywhere else.

Right now I have some cheapo ones put by the dealer.
