Special socket for removing lugnuts?

Does anyone know where one can obtain the special socket for scratchless removal of the lugnuts on the G35 wheels?

Re: Special socket for removing lugnuts?

I use a 13/16 deep-well socket with a paper towel stuffed in so the nut can only go so far.

Re: Special socket for removing lugnuts?

These are what I was using on my G (and still do on my other vehicles) before getting the McGuard Spline-Drive lug nuts for the Volks, which uses its own special splined socket...

You can get them from The Tool Warehouse for $43 a set.

PS: Forgot to mention, The Tool Warehouse has a $50 minimum order policy, so you may want to throw in another little handy tool to raise the price $7 or you'll be charged a $10 service fee.

FYI: These sockets usually sell for roughly $15 a piece.

Re: Special socket for removing lugnuts?

Many thanks for the tip and the link. The selection and prices are outstanding. I took your advice and threw in an Ingersol Rand impact wrench to raise the price $7, and some. Now I just need to explain to the wife why I'm buying all these tools.
