I AM SO MADDDDDDDDDDDD I BENT NOT ONE BUT TWO RIMS YES.MY 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS WELL WORHT SPENT TO THE CRAPER. I NEED TO KNOW IF I CAN GET A THICKER SERIES PROFILE TIRE TO FIT ON MY G. I CURRENTLY HAVE 245/35 IN THE FRONT AN I WANT TO GO TO 245/40. IN THE REAR I HAVE 275/30 AND I WANT TO GO 275/40. I HOPE THIS IS POSSIBLE ALSO MY RIM SIZES ARE 19X9 FRONT AND 19X10 REAR. I NEED A TALLER PROFILE CAUSE I HAVE SOME BAD ROADS IN NEW YORK LET ME KNOW ASAP ON YOUR INPUT. I ALSO HAVE MY CAR LOWERED WITH EIBACH SPRINGS. ABOUT AN INCH. I ALSO MEASURED FROM THE FENDER TO THE FLOOR AND IN THR FRONT IT IS 26 INCHES AND THE REAR IS 27, BUIT I THINK YOU CAN GO A LITTLE ABOVE WHAT YOIU MEASURE CAUSE THE FRONT FENDER IS SORTA ROLLED AND THE BACK ISNT ANYWAY JUST HELP ME OUT PLEASEEEEEEE

No offense to you personally, but that's why I always laugh when I see people spend $2500 - $6000 on just the rims. You can get quality sweet looking rims for half the cost or more and you can get tires to go along with it.

All you're paying for is the "NAME"

Now on Performance parts, that's a slightly different story. Yes on some you're paying for the name, but at least you get some HP gains out of it instead of just the "Name & Looks" on rims.

 

No offense, but the more expensive and forged rims are MUCH better than the cheap knock offs. The look of the rim can make or break the overall appearance of the car. True, if you hit any pothole hard enough, you will bend your rim regardless of whether its forged or cast. Sorry to go off topic, hope your excellent Veilsides can be repaired. I'm not sure at all if you can go up to 40 series rubber. Good luck.

Think what you want, but you can get some nice Axis, Racing Hart, etc.... rims that look very sweet on the car. Obviously they aren't MUCH better if they going to bend and get messed up just like regular rims, and then just have wasted that much more money for a "Name".

Yeah there are Cheap Knock Off's, but just cause they aren't Forged rims or something that doesn't cost at least $800 per rim doesn't mean they're cheap.

Waste as much as you want on rims, when you could be modding it a lot more than just the "Name" of a rim.

 

knock off rims would have bent or cracked alot easier than the forged rims. If you think All your paying for is the name, why did you get an G35, why not by a mustang. Afterall, you're just paying for the infiniti name.

Well then you define what Knock Off rims are then. I can list a bunch of cheap pathetic rims, but there are many nice ones as well. It doesn't really matter of what rim you buy, if you hit it in the right place, doing the right speed, you can mess up your rim. I just think it's ridiculous to waste that much money because MOST OF IT IS FOR THE NAME!!!!!

How are you going to compare the G35 to a Mustang? Just stick to the subject or don't say anything at all.

 

To believe the build of a rim is just for the name is just plain stupid. Please define why you believe it's a waste to have a better quality rim or part on your car...

Umm I got a quote for POS Cast Racing Hart C4's and it was way more expensive than forged Gram Lights.

Dont throw them out! These are three piece wheels and you can have them rebuilt. SSR makes wheels specifically for Veilside. So maybe you can call SSR USA to see if they can rebuild them for you.
