I'm looking for all seasons or winter tires/wheels, 17".
Did some research on tirerack.com - looks like I can either get 17x7.5" ASA KA3s ($155) with winter tires 225/50,235/50
or 17x8" Mille Miglia HT3s with the above or with 245/45, 255/45 all seasons.
I'd prefer all seasons, but am concerned with hydroplaning on water given the above widths.
Anyone have good recommendations, comments on issues with above widths, pointers to wheels/tires for sale that would fit, ...?

Hey there, Boston6MT. While I don't have the 6MT, I can tell ya what I put on my ride....just double check with the rep to make sure that the wheels will clear your Brembos.

Wheels: Konig Appeal (Opal Machine Finish) 17 x 8 5-114.3
Tires: Pirelli Winter 210 Snow Sports 225/50-17 (F), 245/50-17 (R)

Thanks for the reply - I'm actually leaning towards the much cheaper FalkenZiex ZE-512 22 (225/50 F, 225/55 R) all seasons, though I know the rubber won't grip quite as well in the cold. Don't suppose you have pics of the Konig Appeal on your car? Right now they are all that's available (and I'm told they'll clear the Brembos), but I'm not sure how they'd look on the Coupe. At the moment I am leaning towards 1000 Miglia HT3s...

 

Well, funny you should ask...yesterday (Friday) I had the snow tires and wheels put on my ride. So, if the weather is favorable, I'll take some pics in a few hours. In the meantime, I took some pics of the wheels by itself before I had 'em installed. You could click on my profile name and it should take ya to the photo gallery. Just make sure that the overall total diameter of your replacement wheels & tires is close to the stock specs...otherwise, the VDC system will be thrown off (as many peeps on this board have mentioned).

By the way, nice choice of wheels if you go with the Miglia HT3s...very impressive

Thanks for the pics - looks nice (almost chrome brightness on my monitor - I hope they take the salt/sand better than chrome does though!).
I'm probably going to be a whimp and pickup a set of Mille Miglia HT3s and Pirelli Wintersports my dealer has - for $1500 though, as I can't get exactly the right tires I want anywhere

Thanx for the compliments. Yeah, the finish (Opal Machine) is close to chrome...minus the extra $$$. And, just like you mentioned, I hope that it does stand up better to road salt than chrome.

Your set up will be pretty tight.
