The WIDEST tire I can fit on my '03 Coupe?
Since this forum has answered a lot of my question before, I think this is the best place to ask!
I'm putting a set of Ruff Racing 279's on my '03 Coupe. The specs are front= 18x8.5" and rear= 18x9.5", both with 20mm offset. I have a set of BFG G-force T/A's that are in excellent condition that I wouldn't mind reusing. They are front= 225/45/18 and rear= 245/45/18.
The questions I have are: Will my currect G-force's fill wheel wells and look good? and: How wide of a tire can I fit on the Ruff wheels without any type of rubbing?
Thanks for all your help!!!

you still wont rub, trust me, it's been done. Scott Bush (professional race car driver) at Relentless Autosports Runs 285/30/18F 315/30/18R on Nismo LMGT4 wheels (8.5/9.5) on all of his cars and has no issues whatsoever so you cant tell me it wont work, it's been done.

All I was saying is he asked specifically about his RUFF wheels, not the widest tire he can fit in general

he uses street tires on his car as he races in a street class with the JWT TT cars built at his shop. I realize he was asking the widest for his ruff wheels, but they are the same size as the lmgt4's... he asked for the widest... he got the widest.

Let me try to rephrase; Do you think my current G-force's will look good on the new Ruff 279's? Will they fill the wells or do you think I should go wider? Do you think the rim will look too wide for the tire?
