Sedan Offset ? 38mm for 9"rear?

I know the ideal rear offset is gonna be 45 to 48 for the rear, but how bad would 38mm in the rear be for a 9" rim? Anyone got pics. I'm trying to see if I can go staggered with either 18x8/18x9 or 19x8/19x9 with 38mm all the way around. Iv'e searched a ton already but no seems to ask about 38mm on sedans. Any info is appreciated.

Generally I like to use these values for the "current wheels specs" because they are flush with the fenders on a stock suspension:
8.5 +35 Front
9.5 +45 Rear

Enter your new specs and it'll tell you how far in or out your wheel will be from being flush.

thanks (>")> G35 . It said they would stick out about 27mm, I'm just wondering how that would look.

Oh, If you use those values, you'll get the 27mm. It's going to stick out 27mm more than your current setup. If you use the values I posted, it'll give you and idea how far it will stick beyond flush.

BTW, is that M3 spoiler you have and OEM one? I just go my OEM one today and was wondering if anyone's hung over before they bent it to fit...

Hopefully someone's got a pic.
My M spoiler isn't an OEM one, i got it off of ebay and prepped, painted, and clear coated it. It was very flexible, even with paint and clear so it formed nicely to my trunk with the help of another set of hands.
