Anyone know if Work VS-XX in 18x8.5 +31 and 18x9.5 +31 will clear the calipers on a 05 Coupe? Also will +31 offsets have huge fender gap? From what I've read Works require higher offsets due to the face of the rim??

 

it'll look silly with a +31 offset on a 8.5/9.5 setup.

 

Haha I was hoping you would respond, what is the best offset to get then? I was debating on going through gruppe-s for some 19x9 and 19x10 but there was a good deal on RBmotoring for 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 but +31 offsets the 18s were only 1800

lemme as you this: why do you want these wheels? is it for the looks?

if so, then just do it right with a 19x9.5/10.5 setup.

 

what would be wrong with the 19x9 and 19x10 setup, I like deep lips but not too deep. I think I'm going to go with Gruppe-S on the 19 staggared setup they were offering a deal of 2400 shipped before. What offsets should I request for 19in rims?

 

hero is right with there is a reason there is a good deal on those wheels, cuz they will look terrible.

 

offsets are gonna depend on how wide the wheels are, not the diameter.

preferably something in the high teens/low twenties for a 9/10 setup, imo.

 

I searched and a few threads talked about problems with the flat face of the rim scratching the rotors, is this not a problem anymore.
