Exclamation Tire recommendations for 2005 G35 w/18" Sport package

The rear tires on my 2005 G35 AT w/ sport package need to be replaced.
Currently have 235/45 18" tires (OEM Goodyear Eagle NCT5) on all four wheels - this is stock.
Before I go to my local tire shop I wanted to know what other people on this board have done with the same setup (without changing the wheels).
The wheels by the way are 7.5 wide.

I want to make sure I can go wider without rubbing or compromising safety.

So, my questions are:

Which brand/model tire is the widest possible on the rear wheels?
(currently have 235/45 R18) with 45mm standard offset.

What are my choices (for sizes) if the front tires will remain 235/45 R18)?

I am not changing the two front tires yet, because there's still plenty of thread left.

Please post some pics if possible how this will look.

Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

CalGman,

I have the same wheels and put 245/45/18 Toyo T1R's on them. They fit great and fill the wheel well pretty good. I did not drop my car. The car handles awsome with these Toyo's. I would higly recommend them.

I have pictures on the camrea and will try to download them soon.
