Volk Wheels question

On all the Volk TE's and LE's i dont see lips. Is it possible to get a lip as wide as a dollar bill? Im considering 19x9.5 for the fronts and 19x10.5 in the back. Just not sure IF i can get a lip, and if so, what offset i would need to get...

Re: Volk Wheels question

You can get a lip on the coupe but it won't be a dollar wide. If you want to get that big of a lip with TEs or LEs, you will need to get a wide fender kit and have the offset as low as +12 or less.

If you want a 2" lip on the rear then you will need to go 10.5" with a +22B offset. With this offset you will need to roll the fender as well.

- Don't argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.=P-

Re: Volk Wheels question

You can get a bigger lip(about 3in) with the 8.5 + 9.5 by getting the flat looking spokes which are around +30 offsets. 10.5 with a huge lip might be a pain leaving hardly any room for tire.you might be able to roll the outside fenders, but the inside might rub.Stillen has all of them in stock now.I ordered 8.5 & 9.5 +22(1-2in lips w/concaved spokes) from Bulletproofautomotive.com for cheaper but with a longer wait.not many people have the huge 10.5 lip without rub.I'm installng my Tein coilovers w/2" drop and drive hard everyday so I wanted to stay safe.
Nothing's worse than tire rub,its like fingernails on a chalkboard. Anyone in the car will cringe from the sound.

Here is a pic of my rear Volk GT-7. There is still about a half inch of rim before it bends into the bead of the wheel. This is a +24 offset on a 9.5" rim.

Re: Volk Wheels question

Oh, and I get no rubbing at all. Driven hard with Tein Basic coilovers drop as low as humanly possible. My slight camber perfectly tucks the back tires under hard acceleration.
