Wierd idea I had...
I have the Stock 19" OEM Forged Rims on my G35 (as shown below). I love the rims that are on my G35 right now but I want them to be powdercoated or painted black and make the lip red. I dont know why but its this idea that i have and I think it will look nice on my car.
My question is, has anyone done anything close to this that they could show me a picture of? So i can just see how the rims will actually look.

would look cheap, imo, to have such a fatty red lip.

Ok you guys...question. Alright first of all I would do this myself but I don't trust myself with painting these rims so I am trying to get it professionally done. Heres watsup, I got a really nice deal going on doing my rims Glossy Black (which is 2 coats of paint cuz ones black and ones the glossy coat over it) with the red lip + man labor and all that crap for 400$. Which actually is a very good deal considering every other place I have asked charged like crazy over just because of the red lip.
Heres the thing thats holding me back on doing it though...I leased my car and I only have a year left with it. I know if I paint my rims and stuff I have to somehow get it back to the stock look in the end. What will I do when I have to return my car to the dealer? I mean I know I could easily paint it back to the original color but thats probably gonna cost like crazy. Some of my friends end up telling me just don't do it because in the end I am gonna go through a big deal of trouble trying to go back to the stock look and also because I only have a year left with the car...but that really does not bother me.
Any comments on what I should do would be nice.
Thanks

^Get that crazy idea out of your head. If you want after market wheels, get after market wheels. There's no sense in ruining your OEM wheels only to be charged $4K when your lease expires. If you got money to burn, go ahead as planned, otherwise, wake up!
