to match the stock size you have to get 275/35/19 or 275/30/20
the 19"s are $7 more.

If your worried about 7 dollars a tire then you are driving the wrong car. Plus you will make it up in the price of the wheels. 20" wheels are for looks, not prformance. You might as well put some 13' Daytons on there...
I have 20's, been having them and never bent one. I'm in NYC also. I just drive carefully, and even though I have hit some pretty bad ones which you can't help, luckily my wheels are pretty strong and can take a hit. Here they are:

i'm not advocating saving money on tires. just givin one example. i know i'm goin to be rollin super slow in my 20's. i'm not goin to the track, to me they serve their purpose of lookin good.

I live in NJ and everyone i talked to said i was crazy if I got 20s. Once i got them, yeah im nervous about potholes n stuff but the look is perfect and the way they fit is awsome, grip is also amazing. On a G, nothing looks as good as 20s, as long as youre careful. If you go 20 you will not regret it.

well say...I'm on 20" & very happy with it. I used to have 19" but compare to 20" ...20" looks so much better. You can run on 19 but you'll need a really good drop to make it look good
