important TPMS question

OK so im meeting another member here half way to buy some rims, trading oem19's+ cash. both our wheels have TPMS. now my question is will his 07 TPMS's work on my 05 (both coupe) or will i need to have them switched from my wheels to his and vice versa?

i was told by the guy at the shop were meeting at that sometimes the difference in year will make them not work interchangeably because of different programming.

anyone have info on this? would hate to make a 6 hour trip only to have to make another one to swap tpms hahaha. well i guess i could mail them if that was the case. but would rather save myself the trouble.

thanks

Both sets will work, but you'll have to get them reprogrammed at your local dealership since they are identifiable by your car only

reprogramming is usually free.
