I'm thinkin of goin for the JDM look at getting some Blitz 03 wheels. They are three piece (although not light) and come high polished or flat silver. I'm thinkin about powercoating the centers to match my DG coupe. Heres some pics.

These wheels are ordered from Japan directly and have a long wait so technically yes they are JDM. But, I'm going for a little old school JDM look on my ride.

looks good do what you like no what others like or you will end up with some volks or work wheels not that it is a bad thing but everyone has them

 

They only come in 18's so they are a little small for the G in that style, IMO only track oriented 18's work on the G. If you decide to get them anyways, make sure you order the 18x9+22 18x10+22 setup, and maybe run 10mm spacers front and rear
