Just as the title says, are there wheels that are black chrome? If so, howcome you never hear about them, and how do they look? umm any information about black chrome wheels (if they exist) would be awesome. Thanks

 

There is such a thing as 'black' chrome. Back in the day it was basically a nickle plating which was polished. Good lookin stuff .... no one's doing it now as far as I know. Infiniti has a line of badges named black pearl which has essentially the same look but I believe it's a paint system.

only "prob" is that it's so reflective, you have to look at it head on to tell it's black..otherwise it just reflects the chrome lip and looks like chrome itself

 

Would you happen to know what side skirts are on that G? Look like greddy, but they're not...

Black chrome is not very popular, a few people on here have black chrome emblems on their cars and it looks great, but i don’t know where they picked them up at.

There is such thing as black chrome but its not very popular because if you get a chance to see them in person it doesn't look as good as it sounds. It pretty much just looks like a dirty rim, even my rim shop was telling me it's not very popular at all and people normally don't like the look once they see them.

Black Chrome looks awesome. I think the way it's created is with a black finish that is polished to a very high shine. Essentially it's black, but because it's so bright, it looks like chrome under certain lighting or at certain angles.

 

Back in the day there was a guy that had black-chromed OEM 18's. Looked cool. Search and I bet you'll find the pics.
