Rim size question 04 G35 coup

I wanted to get some of these http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/matrix/matrix.html#

axis matrix rims in 19". I had a few questions.. the 19 x 8 vs the 19x9.5
would that just be the lip difference? Also the bolt pattern.. is that just the number of bolts in sections on the outter part of the rim?

what do I put on a 2004 G35 coup?

19 refers to the overall diameter of the wheel. the second, ie. 8 and 9.5 is the width of the wheel. The difference is basically just the depth of the lip. You can go with both wheel size on the '04.
OR, you can for the staggered size, which puts wider wheels in the rear. So 19X8 front, 19X9.5 rear. (highly recommended)

staggered size? is that what most people do? besides looks is there any difference in performance?

Not really in performance now just mainly looks. it's what the gs and 350z do on their rides. especially since they are rear wheel drive. although keep in mind you will not be able to rotate your tires because of the situation. i love my staggered setup though, wouldn't be good without it. that's just imo though. whatever works for you best.

The Axis Matrix wheels do come with the staggered package set up. It may be 90% looks and 10% performance (more rubber for the rear wheel drive).
Thats just my opinion.
Wouldn't you want two fat tires sticking out from under your G from the rear?? Staggered just makes the car more sportier.
Once I finally land a good deal on a G, I'm getting 20x8.5 F and 20x10.5 R.

so I'm running stock 17" with performance slotted rotors and brembo pads (but not calipers) Will that give enough stoppage power or will I need to upgrade my calipers?
