Tein Type Flex + EDFC installation HELP
Hi,
To those who have perform the Tein Type Flex + EDFC install, I will be doing this sometime soon. Please feel free to offer any 'DOs' and "DONTs' (I don't like surprises). The coilovers should be fairly simple and straight forward. The EDFC motors do not look too complicated as well, but I guess I will find out soon enough.
All tips and advices welcomed
Thanks,
Clint (THX723)

Re: Tein Type Flex + EDFC installation HELP
Get new cotter pins for the front ball joints.Everything is super tight,so you need a breaker bar.On the front shock,I started at the tallest setting and spun the adjustments a full three turns to lower about 1.5 . On the rear system,I started where they taped the adjustments and spun it six full turns up for about a 1.5" drop. Its kind of a pain to adjust how much you want to lower after you installed the system so you want to do it first.I also needed the toe/camber bars for the rear, and was left at -1 camber in the front which isnt bad but can be fixed with front A-arms.
