Question 05 G35 Sedan with Sport package, What tires?

05 G35 Sedan with Sport package, What tires?

I have the 05 G35 Sedan with the sport package and the 18 “ wheels. What tires should I get. I don’t really like the NCT tires that came on it and the Hurendas are supposed to be exactly that. So what about the Avon tires? Those are pretty cheap and have gotten good reviews. Will Infiniti say anything if my car does not have the OEM brand tires on it when I turn it in at the end of the lease? If the sizes are the same can they say anything?

Thanks for your help.

I also have an 05 Sport with 18" with the NCT tires. From what I understand, as long as you have the same tire size which in this case is the 235/45/18 you'll be ok. I don't think Avon tires make this size but I could be wrong. Read up on Kumho tires when ever you have a chance or go to Tirerack. I believe they are going for about $123 per tire.

at end of lease when IFS sends an inspector they make sure you have the same size tires on all 4 wheels and check the tread wear. not too strict on what type of tire

Thanks that what I thought. By the way the Stock Goodyear NCT tires are Horrible! I only got 19K on them and they are completely bald now! I hope these Kuhmos are a little better. Nothing could be worse except maybe the Hurendas!

I have an 05 with sport package as well, but i have the turenzas instead of the NCTs.. Tread life is decent compared to the NCTs seeing how alot of people have been replacing them early due to uneven wear/premature wear etc.. I have 22K and have half the tread left but traction is pretty bad.

Like said earlier you shouldnt have problem as long as the tire size is OEM 235/45/18.
