03 Sedan: 20x9.5 35mm offset staggered rear
Anybody here have a 20x9.5 35mm offset wheel in the rear of their 1st gen sedan?
I couldnt get the offset that would have fit better, but wanted the rims badly. I put a rim on with no tire and it looks like it sticks out quite a bit, of course this is without a tire, and without being sat on the ground. I am also lowered on tein basics which I can tell will turn the rim slightly inward. I know for a fact that the fenders will need to be rolled at the very minimum, and I may end up returning the rear rims and give up on these particualar rims in a staggered setup.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but he is on 19s and the ones I got are 20's. I'm definitely gonna be lower than him, but if they fit without rubbing, then i'll keep them, but the more I look at them, the more I think they won't. If anybody with rolled fenders with 20x9.5 35 offset is around please let me know. I was hoping with a little negative camber and a fender roll, these would fit like 20x10 42+ offset ive seen many other members on. My math may be incorrect. Am I stupid for trying to make these work?

As long as the width and offset are the same it doesn't matter whether they are 19s or 20s.
Also below is a link to a wheel offset calculator. For example, I have heard of people running a 10" wide rim with a +40mm offset. If that fits then a 9.5" wide rim with a +35mm offset will provide 11mm more clearance on the inside of the wheel and be tucked in 1mm more on the outside of the wheel. So by these calculations they will fit. Don't go off of these calculations alone.

Definitely rolling the fenders. I did notice that the camber is looking a little negative already just with the tein basics, hopefully wont need much more, dont want to run thru tires like butter. Running 255/35s might be good, but I talked about this in another thread... 245/35 front and 255/35 rear might look funny... Anybody ran those tire sizes staggered?

I wouldn't run a 255 on a 10" rim. It'll look funny. A 255 is fit for a 8" or 8.5" rim. It won't be stretched too much but you will be able to tell it is stretched.
What brand and model tire are you going to be running in the back? That makes a big difference as well. I was running 315/35/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s on the rear of my camaro and it would rub the inside of the wheel wells on dips and very sharp turns. I switched to Nitto 555 Drag Radials in 315/35/17 and I noticed they weren't as wide as the GSD3s. All tires are not the same. Nittos are known for being a slightly smaller tire and Goodyear is known for having a slightly wider tire.

I've been doing some research as well. I'm trying to go with at least a 35 series sidewall since most of the roads out where I live are riddled with potholes and uneven pavement.
I've found that compared to the stock 215/55/17 which is (~26.2"):
235/40/19 (~26.4")
245/35/19 (~25.8")
275/35/19 (~26.6")
From these number I came to the conclusion that the 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 are okay for me to run.
I used tire rack to do some searching on the sidewall heights. Just put in the tire size and check the specs of each tire. They may not have the specific brand but it gives you an idea of how tall each tire is going to be. Hope some of what I've been posting helps.

Well it looks like 20x9.5 35mm offset staggered rear rims work! As long as the fenders are rolled, and a little bit of negative camber. It is a very close fit, but looks nice and so far doesn't rub, i'm going to do some more testing(with 3 or more people in the back seat) but everything seems to be ok. BTW.
