tire pressure?

hi, i come from driving an awd wrx and now i'm not sure what tire pressure i used.. i noticed that stock was too low, it was about 35-37 all around. i bumped it to 40 and 42 in the rear.. is that still too little? the stock 18's say 51psi max on the tires.. so i'm just curious what people are running and if it should be stiffer in the rear. thanks

Re: tire pressure?

The pressures listed on the tires have nothing to do with the manufacturer's (of the car, not the tire) recommendation. 51 is way too much. You need to use what Infiniti recommends on the placard inside your door jam. I've been running 35 in mine all around and I have absolutely no uneven wear.
