I've been running 265/35/19's for 20,000 miles w/ 15mm spacers on stock 19's with perfectly even wear. This size fits perfectly! The sidewalls have no bulge whatsoever. IMO and ACTUAL REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE much better and safer than the 245's.
Ignore the doomsayers, pontificators, and "forum experts". FIND SOMEBODY WHO ACTUALLY IS RUNNING THE SETUP YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT!
Oh yeah, please say a prayer for me. I am squeeeeezing on a set of 275/35/19 later this week. Then I will smoke a cigarette, eat red meat, go tanning, and stay up real late writing my obit (maybe I just have...that would be irony at its finest.)

Hey thought id quickly update my status. I now have on a set of 255/40/19 in the back and 225/35/19 in the front.. everything is running just fine ( as you would assume).
One thing i would like to mention is that when i first put on the 275/35/19 tires on my rears it definitely felt like something was wrong. At the time i just assumed it wasnt anything bad and i had to get used to the wider tires...but regardless it seemed "not right".. i would describe it as follows:
I drove from SD to the Bay area immediately after getting these put on and right when i left discount tires i started feeling this kinda of swagger while riding on the highway. Basically as i drove and changed lanes rather quickly i could almost feel the car shift back and forth with each change lane... wasnt a tight feeling as i was used to with the stock tires... it almost seemed as if the rear of the car was not stable...
After finding out that the tires i had on where too big it made more sense... basically if the tires are too wide then it gives the wheels room to "shimmy" back and forth. This HAS to be pretty bad for the sidewalls and unsafe in general. Having felt that already and people on this board pointing out the tire size problem..seemed like a no brainer to me.. I mean hell those tires were almost 300 a piece through discount ... the set i have now are well below 200 a piece

limited mileage, how about the use of the tires is what really matters. just because infiniti didnt put that size of tire on the car doesn't mean it wont fit. you obviously have limited experience with tires and how they work.
i worked at a tire shop for 2 years in college and have about 6 years of racing experience, so maybe you can tell me something i have missed about tires. or you can tell me where someone had a 275 tire blow up from being on a 8.5" wheel.

Let's get back to the original questions about spacer widths with stock 19" wheels.
Sounds like either 15/20mm or 20/25mm (FR/RR) is recommended from my reading. Does anyone have pictures with these two setups? It seems like 20/25 will be too much. I am running 245/35-19 and 255/40-19 Falken FK-452's, which both fall under the tire manufacturer's reccomended spec, but not off topic to the spacers.

Someone else posted using 15mm and 20mm spacers with the stock 19s and stock tires but i want to make sure that since i got wider tires now i dont rub. Thanks in advanced

I don't want anyone to go against me, But have any of the people that don't recommended trying this size, tried it or experience it. Sorry I don't like people that haven't tried stuff, but can say stuff. Not be mean. Cause sometime when you go off what other people say, sometimes it might not be the right thing. Just wondering ???
