Tire Recommendations

Hey guys,

dont have time to search so real quick:

I bought my 06 g35 coupe late last september. I have almost 11k miles and my tires are almost bald!!

I never do anything bad on my tires and my friend with his evo9 has the same issue at 11k miles..

Im getting new tires tomorrow...

What tires do you guys recommend?

Toyo T1R's you will find are the most popular here I think. Don't worry, I had to replace mine at 9k miles.

I've gotten used to looking for the least expensive tires for my rears as I don't get more than 11,000 miles out of them. I'm on my 3rd set of tires with only 23,000 miles. My first set only got 8,000 miles. For me, I go for the least expensive tires that are rated as Performace V rated. This car eats tires at an incredible rate and there is no point in throwing away money are the more expensive tires. I have the Avon 550 A/S on the rears only. I wouldn't put them on the front because of severe feathering that screams on deceleration under 40MPH.

ok, honestly, toyo's are WAY overpriced... so are the PS2's. the general exclaims from tirerack are a fraction of the price and got BETTER reviews. sure, they're not as well-known, but they're PROVEN (673 reviews on Tirerack named them the best tires in their class... OVER the PS2's and T1R's). call me cheap, but not all of us are tracking the cars every weekend. in fact, with the amount of burnouts i expect to do, price should be a main consideration

here are the prices (each) -
225/35/19 - $115
235/35/19 - $120
245/35/19 - $125
265/35/19 - $135
275/30/19 - $148

I am in the same boat going threw tires like MAD! I just ordered a set of BFG G-Force KDW 2, 275/35/19, and 245/35/19 ...... coming off is a set of Falken 452, did I make the right choice?

but none of those are the right diameter for the rear tires

What is your primary objective for the tires? Dry grip, wet performance, noise, wear?

What do you have mounted on your stock 19's? I want to go with 245/35 front and 265/35 rear but the fitment guide says the rear rim is too narrow at 8.5".

u can fit 265 on the rear stock 19's... some ppl have done 275, so 265 should fit fine.
