Alignment

I put some SF Challenges on my car and want to get an alignment to make sure everything is where it should be. I was also thinking about lessening the camber to prevent poor tire wear (wider wheels exaggerate the factory camber).

Here are my questions:

What is the stock rear camber? -1.0?

Would I be causing any problems by bringing that to -.5 or 0.0? (I don't plan on autox any time soon)

For those with a polished lip, how do you prevent the clamps on the alignment machine from scratching the lip?

Thanks.

Re: Alignment

We need pics of your SF Challenges on your black coupe. Did you get Gunmetal? What are your offsets? How deep are your wheels?

Re: Alignment

rear camber should be:

min: -1.1 deg max: -0.1 deg

for both right and left. For alignment they need to use 1 of the new machines that uses that strobe or laser or whatever it is and doesn't have rails.

Not sure, but it looks like -.5 would still be within spec. 0.0 would be outside spec by .1 degree.

I hope we don't have to put you on restriction with those smileys.
