Tires on OEM rims

I can buy 4 Bridgestone SO3s (245-35-19 front and 275-35-19 rears) for $700 shipped brand new. The front 245 will fit on an 8 inch rim, however, a 275 requires a 9 inch rim, and stock is 8 1/2. How many people are still running 275s on the stock rim regardless of this fact? I really want to buy these but am nervous.

275 is a bit too wide, its not safe to do. 265 is the HIGHEST you should go...and even then 265 is still a tad bit too wide. 255 is the best for the rear.

Just a thougt, but any 265 will fit on a 8 1/2 rim per Yokahama and various other websites. So this seems to be just 1 size more than recommended.
