Hi Guys,

One quick question, I had been serching for the tires for the stock 235/45/18 rims on my 05 sedan. I believe they are 18*7.5J all around. I was wondering if 235/40/18 or 245/40/18 will fit on those rims. I have heard that a 40 won't fit due to the narrow rim length. Has anyone fit 235/40 or 245/40 rubbers with their stock rims? There are just a few choices with 235/45's so I would like to go with 235/40 indeed. Thx for your experience in advance.

I'm wondering about this myself. The 245/45s on the 18" OEM sport rim are about 1% off of the OEM Turanzas. And they fit a 7.5" rim. Is anyone using this size on a sedan with the 18" OEM rims? Much better tires available at this size, too.

Limited selection for 235/45/18's? Tirerack has 14 offerings. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...8&startIndex=0

I have the Kumho Ecsta SPT's in that size on my sedan and I'm happy with them, especially for the price.
