Wheelsdirectonline.com Sucks!!
im friggin pissed man. i mean things could always be worse but my experience with john @ wheelsdirectonline has been disgusting. I called to place an order for a set of Donz Montana a couple weeks ago and he told me the wheels will be made to fit my sedan. i made it CLEAR to him i wanted a 40 offset or higher meaning 42 or so on my rears and he knew that when i ordered. the wheels arrived but the rear offsets were 38's (WTF). so i had the tires mounted on them anyway...they stick out like hell and my fenders basically sat on my tires!! anyone with 40 offsets can only imagine what a 38's would be like on a sedan. the wheels would have to be like \
Ive tried resolving this with john over the past couple weeks giving him more than enough simple solutions and time while being respectful.
solution 1: have donz send me 2 rear wheels with the correct offsets with a pre-paid shipping return label and refund me for mounting tires since it was their fault.
solution 2: have donz send me 2 rear wheels with the correct offsets with a pre-paid shipping return label (i'd pay for unmounting & remounting tires)
solution 3: (TODAY) ill pay to have tires unmounted and wheels shipped back to donz and wheelsdirectonline only cover shipping back to me =/
john wasnt willing to help me out AT ALL!
The solution i have came up with is to list the wheel/tires for sale so keep ur eyes open for em!

alex man that really sucks. they should have definately done something for you.
not to be the a$$hole here but if you really think of you it that it only a 4mm difference between a +38 and a +42 you could easily just run a little bit more camber then you were or raise the back of the car up some.
i know i wouldnt want to raise my car, so i will prolly just run more camber with my new setup (20 9.5 +10 20 11 +10).

But if you didn't know the offset they sent, and they said it would fit then solution 2 would be most amicable.

no, i was just considering what sounds fair.
sucks that they say they fit when you put them on and clearly don't. you should send them a picture, maybe then they will get it. either way, i'm not sayin it's your fault. i think they should exchange your wheels regardless. i hope it works out for you.
there have been several threads describing their horrible customer service the past month or so. the admins should contact the vendor and see if they can help out the forum members.
